USING DR2DR
Without an EMR, how do I capture conversations and include or attach patient information?
The process for capturing the conversation and including patient information will vary, depending on your EMR vendor. Generally, information will be imported and exported from the EMR manually, as a .PDF file. Another option is to cut and paste the conversation into the EMR application or print it off and add the print-out to the patient’s paper record.
How do I know if someone has been added to a conversation?
When someone is added to the conversation, a message will show within the conversation indicating which person was added. If you have your notifications set to instant, you will receive either an email or text message notifying you that someone was added to the conversation.
How long does a session last before timing out?
A session in dr2dr will last for 15 minutes. After 15 minutes of inactivity, you will be automatically logged out of dr2dr.
